Quality in Focus

End of March 2008 KETEK was certified by TÜV Management Services for the integration of a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2000 for "sales, manufacturing and development of semiconductor detectors, detector systems and corresponding electronics". During the last 1.5 years KETEK worked on this project and the whole staff is now focused on the system and the processes which have been defined. Providing the best solutions for our customers by continuously improving the quality of our work and our products is one of our current key-goals.

New Product - KETEK DIXAS

The new KETEK DIXAS (Digital X-ray Acquisition System) comprises any type of KETEK´s approved VITUS SDDs, a low noise preamplifier, a fast Digital Pulse Processor (DPP) and all necessary electronics and power supplies. The system is ready for operation within minutes after receipt. All settings are controlled through DIXAS software running on a PC. The DIXAS is now available for all KETEK SDD module types. The new system provides reduced processing time for improved resolution and throughput in excess of 400 kcps as well as setting and electronic control of all SDD parameters by software and stable analytical results with countrate and time.

Dr. Reinhard Fojt - New Managing Director at KETEK

Dr. Reinhard Fojt started his work for KETEK in May 2007 as Managing Director. He is educated in electronics and made his PD in Semiconductor Physics. During the last 20 years he collected his expert knowledge in high positions in medium size and large companies. Dr. Reinhard Fojt will continue our philosophy of business relations and product quality. Under his responsibility we will establish some new divisions in order to achieve a broader basis and to ensure stability during the process of company growth.
